Badger

Drogheda, Co Louth

Badgers are a member of the Mustelid family which include weasels and stoats, they are easily distinguished from other Mustelid members in Ireland such as pine martens, Irish stoats, otters and American minks.

Images below were taken at night with an external flash to light up the subject. Photographing such a shy and principally nocturnal animal was a privilege.

How I captured these images

In most cases I will have my GoPro with me and document how I capture my images, white capturing footage of the subject.
